About Me:

Angel King, BCACLC

I somehow knew at an early age I would grow up to be a helper of sorts and would do so beyond the boundaries of my sweet, small town in central NC. I was raised in the ministry of my parents. My dad was a local pastor and our family became missionaries to the Cherokee and Choctaw tribes. We worked in Oklahoma before returning home to NC for my mom to have cancer treatments. After a brave 3-year battle, we lost her when I was just a teenager. My first hand witness of her journey of faith and trust in God, despite her circumstances, inspired me to begin my career, and later my ministry, in the medical field.

Along with my degree in Radiology, I am certified in Plant-based Nutrition through Cornell University. While serving my patients for 15+ years, I also worked part-time as an events director and ministry manager for our church. Soon the draw for more ministry was too strong and I left private practice to join our church staff full-time. God grew me in ways I didn’t know I needed as I served our church family for 7 years in this new role. All the while, He was preparing me for His next chapter in my life.

After a house fire, multiple surgeries, and losing many family members in less than two years, I realized these difficult life experiences were also preparing me for what God had planned. He began showing me He would use it all for my good and His glory. He was cultivating my heart for a specific ministry, one that would combine my education, life experiences, and passions. I soon returned to school to become a certified Life Coach. I received my advanced credentials through the International Board of Christian Care, an affiliate of the American Association of Christian Counselors.

Along our life journey, hope can become lost in the shadows of crises and in the chaos of life. If you are having trouble managing stress, processing grief or just want to feel more focused and confident as you set personal goals, coaching may be the path for you. If you cannot seem to find a healthy balance with your work and personal life, a Life Coach may be what you need for this part of your journey. My coaching approach is one of renewed hope, tender compassion and measurable accountability. It would be my privilege to encourage, direct, train, and guide you through life’s toughest decisions and situations. I am committed to supporting you as you find success and greater fulfillment as you seek God’s best for your life.
